First Time Renters

December 5, 2017

I’m considering RVing, but I’ve never done it before…

It’s easy to imagine yourself renting an RV if perhaps you’ve grown up around RVs or campers but what about if it’s your first time ever? Operating an RV may seem like it’s reserved only for those who have prior knowledge, experience and a handy side to them, but that’s simply not true. (Well, of course it does depend on which company you rent from and what kind of RV you’ll drive).

The overwhelming majority of our clients have never even stepped foot in an RV, they’ve simply seen one drive by on the freeway and have wondered if they too can be those happy people that are vacation bound.

The great news is that WE MAKE IT EASY!

Our goal is to make sure every renter feels confident and excited about operating these RVs. We won’t lie to you, there is a lot to know. Of course, you can get away with just knowing the pure essentials like how to properly use the generator and empty the waste tanks, but the RVs are capable of so much and we want you to feel at home. After all, this is your home away from home for the next couple days or weeks.

So here is how we can help you feel at ease in your new home away from home.

#1. Training Videos from home!

Our clients used to spend hours on the internet watching Youtube videos to learn RV essentials and we thought, “hey, wouldn’t it be great if they can just log onto our Client Resources portal and learn everything they need to know?”. That’s just what we did.

Once you reserve a Chill RV you will get an email with instructions on how to access the Training Videos. You will have the option of learning the most important essentials, or scrolling through and learning it all!

#2. Training Videos on the road!

All of our RVs are furnished with an iPad that has many useful resources, including easy to follow instructional videos. Need to refill the fresh water tank? No problem! Turn on the corresponding video and do it just as they do in the video. Leaving the campsite? Follow the easy to follow check list of things to do before you head out.

#3. 24/7 support via phone or text!

Still can’t figure something out? No problem, it happens and that’s why we’re here to help! Someone is on call literally anytime of day or night to make sure you have a worry free, smooth experience.

With all those resources there is absolutely nothing to worry about except where to go next!
