Adventures on the West Coast
Napa Valley
Napa Valley is the perfect get-away for someone who loves wine, great food, hiking, horse back riding and enjoys the small town feel. This area has some of the best wine tasting we've ever experienced. Hundreds of vineyards fill the region and the choices are endless. Make sure to visit Castello di Amorosa (in the photo).
Sonoma County
Sonoma is another one of those places that has amazing vineries, so of course lots of wine tasting options. However, there is more to Sonoma than wine. A very popular point of interest is the Safari West, a 400-acre preserve filled with giraffes, gazelles, zebras, oryx, antelopes, cape buffalo, wildebeests and many more animals. Also worth a visit are the Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve and The Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center.
Seattle, Washington
This is an urban city surrounded by incredible natural beauty. The city is divided into neighborhoods, each having a unique character and worth a visit. When visiting Seattle a stop at Pike Place is a must! It's one of the oldest continuously operated public farmers' markets in the United States and the home place of Starbucks! Make sure to leave some time to take a ride on the world famous Seattle Great Wheel.
